Ingredients

  1. Pinch of salt
  2. All purpose flour
  3. Water
  4. Milk
  5. Hominy corn/maize

Preparation

  1. Wash one cup of hominy maize.
  2. Soak it in water and leave in the fridge overnight.
  3. Discard soaked water the next day.
  4. Wash one more time.
  5. Cook with enough water in a pressure cooker.
  6. Pressure cooker helps it cook faster.
  7. Add more water if needed and stir and cook until tender
  8. The cooking may take 2hrs 30 mins
  9. Mix two tbsp of all purpose flour with water and add to the hominy maize on fire. This is to thicken the broth.
  10. Stir and cook for about 10mins
  11. Add some salt to taste.
  12. Stir and serve with milk and some sugar for breakfast.
