The fees structure supports:

  • Facilities, programs, and services that promote student involvement and that are complementary to, but not part of, instructional programs.
  • Supports operating and capital expenses for services related to the physical and psychological health and well-being of students, social and cultural activities and programs.
  • Services related to campus life and campus community, and educational and career support services.

These policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programs at North West University NWU. The institute reserves the right to change fees without prior notice to the student. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council.

Compulsory 1st Minimum Fees Payable for 2023 Residence Students

Amount includes registration fees and a first payment on tuition and residence fees R 20 910 R 11 290 R 11 290 Full cost of study

NSFAS Funded students are exempted from the minimum first payment.

BANKING DETAILS FOR PAYMENTS

A direct bank deposit or electronic bank transfer can be made into any of the bank accounts of the North-West University at ABSA, First National Bank, Nedbank, Standard Bankor FNB Namibia. The pre- defined account named “NWU STUDENT” must be selected from the list of beneficiaries under ABSA’s Account Payments, FNB’s Public Recipients, Nedbank’s Bank-approved beneficiaries, or Standard Bank’s Companies list of beneficiaries. Only the student’s 8-figure university number will be accepted beneficiary reference. The relevant account numbers are:
