Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  1. Cold Press Coconut oil
  2. Onion
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Crushed white pepper
  5. Garlic powder
  6. All purpose seasoning
  7. Long grain rice
  8. Water
  9. Coconut milk
  10. Thyme
  11. Scallions

Preparation

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add chopped onions
  2. Add crushed white pepper, garlic powder, all purpose seasoning.
  3. Stir gently and add the peas.
  4. Add a bit of salt to taste
  5. Stir and fry for 30 seconds and transfer it onto a clean plate and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, heat some more coconut oil and add chopped onions, all purpose seasoning.
  7. Followed by the coconut milk and stir.
  8. Add washed rice and stir thoroughly.
  9. Cook and stir until the water is evaporated.
  10. Season with salt.
  11. After that add some water to cook and stir.
  12. Bundle up the green scallions and fresh thyme together and place on top of the rice for a nice flavour.
  13. Cover the pot and allow to cook on low heat for 20 mins.

14. Enjoy with some cabbage sauce or fish stew.
