Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  1. Cold Press Coconut oil
  2. Onion
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Cups of green peas
  5. Crushed white pepper
  6. Garlic powder
  7. All purpose seasoning
  8. Long grain rice
  9. Water
  10. Coconut milk
  11. Thyme
  12. Scallions

 

Preparation

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add chopped onions
  2. Add crushed white pepper, garlic powder, all purpose seasoning.
  3. Stir gently and add the peas.
  4. Add a bit of salt to taste
  5. Stir and fry for 30 seconds and transfer it onto a clean plate and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, heat some more coconut oil and add chopped onions, all purpose seasoning.
  7. Followed by the coconut milk and stir.
  8. Add washed rice and stir thoroughly.
  9. Cook and stir until the water is evaporated.
  10. Season with salt.
  11. After that add some water to cook and stir.
  12. Bundle up the green scallions and fresh thyme together and place on top of the rice for a nice flavour.
  13. Cover the pot and allow to cook on low heat for 20 mins.
  14. Remove the scallion and add peas and mix well.

15. Enjoy with some cabbage sauce or fish stew.

Fried Cabbage Recipe

Ingredients

  1. Chilli flakes
  2. One large onions
  3. Green, yellow and red Bell peppers
  4. Garlic cloves
  5. Bouillon cubes
  6. Seasoning
  7. Beef sausage
  8. Layers of bacon
  9. One or half cabbage

 

Preparation

  1. Chop cabbage into thin slices
  2. Chop bell peppers and onions.
  3. Clean and chop bacon into cute sizes
  4. Slice sausages into desired sizes
  5. In an empty pan, fry bacon in it’s own grease and stir until golden brown
  6. Take them out into a plate.
  7. Proceed to fry sausage.
  8. Take it out and set aside
  9. Add chopped onions and fry till soft then add chopped bell peppers.
  10. Add minced garlic and stir as well
  11. Add chopped cabbage and fry
  12. Season with bouillon cube, pinch of chili flakes.
  13. Stir and continue cooking until preferred texture and crunchiness
  14. Add fried bacon and sausages and stir
  15. Cook for about two mins
  16. You can serve with rice.
